Plans? What plans?
Well, I had a plan, or so I thought. I was going to clean and organize my craft room and do some crafting. What was I thinking? We went for breakfast and then had to run by the lumberyard for hoes and a garbage can. Then we saw the plants Tommy's mom had been wanting but a small version, so we ended up going to the Houston Garden Center, they have most of their plants 70% off. We thought we might be able to find her a bigger size. Well traffic was stopped so that took awhile. Meantime my friend post a panoramic picture from her Iphone 5. That changed my mind back and I had to have the Iphone 5. I had made up my mind I was just gonna go with the 4s since I would have to wait 3 to 4 weeks for a phone. Well she tells me her son got his at the Apple Store at Willowbrook. I call, they have none. I call a couple verizon stores. They have none so I make one last call to the Apple Store in The Woodlnads. They had them in stock. So we head back into town and I wait in a line for the Iphone 5. Tommy got a 4s. We spent about 1 1/2 hours total. It is soooooooo cool. I got a white 15 gig IPhone 5. I love it. So we finally get home and I think I will take a nap. Well that didn't happen, so I went out and mowed the yard. Now our yard is and acre so it took a little while, then I pressure washed some of the driveway. Then around 7:45 we decide we need to eat supper. We went and grabbed Popeyes Chicken and came home and watched TV and did some laundry. Played with my phone a bit, but then had to charge it. So, now I am drinking hot tea and getting ready for a good night sleep. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Hopefully some crafting.
It is the WEEKEND!!!
Well, it is Saturday and I have been up since 4:30am. My mind was racing with ideas and once that starts, I just give up and get out of bed. My sweet puppy is laying on the floor under my desk snoring. She is so funny. She could have stayed in bed with her granddaddy and Petie but she can't stand to be without me for 5 seconds. So I sit her and listen to her snore. Such a lady. LOL
So this weekend is one I have been looking forward to for awhile now. I have no plans no commitments, just get to spend the weekend doing what I want. Which is cleaning my scrap room and crafting. My plans for the weekend include finishing my samples for the Elmo birthday party. Making some T-shirts and an Apron and working on a couple Christmas projects form my next SWARM. I am also hoping to get new folders made for all my new Cartridges. I am just looking around my desk and it appears I have bought about 18 new cartridges recently. DANG!!!! Loving Create A Critter 2, Suburbia, Artiste, Pretty Penants, Teddy Bear Parade, Team Spirit, Billionaire, Bump in the Night and Art Philosophy,of course my all time favorite Mickey Fonts. Can't believe I am actually using so many cartridges lately. It is kinda fun playing with all the new stuff and pulling out a few oldies and trying them out.
Well, the house just woke up! So
I am off to get some breakfast and start palying.
Hope your weekend is spectacular!

Mine, Mine, Mine!
I hold SWARMS here in Houston. A SWARM is just an all day crop with alot of cricuts being used. I had one in July and asked for attendees input on anything they would like to see changed or any request they had. One request was a trash can for each person. Although it was a great idea it could be a very expensive change. I started out looking at Target, and Walmart for trash cans. $5.00 each, $3.00 each. Even found some at Lowes on clearance for $1.99 each but they were decorated and frankly pretty ugly. I know it is trash but that didn't mean the outside had to be ugly as well. Then I thought I'd check out the Dollar store and see if they had anything I could use. Well, I found one white trash can. So I went to another and found 1 black trash can. and find me more. Well, several calls later and I would have a total of 3 can. Then one of the customers tells me just order them online thru Dollar Tree. Funny how the employees never mentioned that. Well, I go home and pull them up online. They have black and if I order a case I can get them for $1.00 each. Well shipping was crazy, so I passed. 2 days later I get a email about shipping whole order for $4.95. Needless to say I ordered a case. About 2 weeks later, 36 trash cans arrived. Boring ugly black trash cans. YUCK!!! Hey, I have vinyl. So I figure out what I want on them, of course I can't find a Seagul from Disney so I just used the words Mine, Mine, Mine! so that everyone would know they were for them to use at the SWARMS , but not take home. I thought about it and decided I wanted them to know not to put liquid in them. I have no desire to wash trash cans all the time. Then the other side looked kind of boring so, my husband says put your name on there. So, I put The Cricut Lady on them. Of course I used Green. First because of Cricut but also because it is one of my favorite colors. I think all in all they turned out pretty good. What do you think?

It is all about Elmo
Elmo is a character, well quite a character. He makes my little niece (not really but she thinks she is) laugh and smile. She turns 2 on October 6, and I was asked to help with some party favors for her daycare party. I have been cutting out all sorts of Elmo shapes. Working with 4 Sesame Street Cartridges. Elmo's Party, Sesame Street Seasons, Seasame Street Font and Sesame Street Friends. I also am using a few boxes and bags from Artiste the Close to My Heart cartridge. I am meeting with momma on Friday to get final approval and am really excited. Of course I am making estras for Jeana to play with while we talk.

It has been over a year.
Wow, it has been over a year since my last post. But I'm back and creating like a crazy woman again. I have been buying a ton of cartridges lately. Just got the new releases Create A Critter 2 and Suburbia. Love these 2 cartridges. They are quick, easy, and fun. I used a couple of images from Create A Critter 2 for my SWARM on Saturday. Tonight I have been working on a series of cards named: And I said...
I plan on a couple series of cards from this cartridge. But I will post the 4 cards I have done. They are a little mean, but the ladies I made them for will love them. This one inside reads. Oh sweetie, no one cares what your opinion is.
This one inside reads. Honey, the best appliance in my kitchen is the phone.
The left one inside reads. Oh sweetie, you can't be that stupid. The right one inside reads. Sweetie, when I want your opinion, I'll give it to you.
These are just some of the images from the cartrirdge I cut out. They were all cut at 3 3/4 inches.
