It is all about Elmo

Elmo is a character, well quite a character. He makes my little niece (not really but she thinks she is) laugh and smile. She turns 2 on October 6, and I was asked to help with some party favors for her daycare party. I have been cutting out all sorts of Elmo shapes. Working with 4 Sesame Street Cartridges. Elmo's Party, Sesame Street Seasons, Seasame Street Font and Sesame Street Friends. I also am using a few boxes and bags from Artiste the Close to My Heart cartridge. I am meeting with momma on Friday to get final approval and am really excited. Of course I am making estras for Jeana to play with while we talk.

Create A Critter 2 Cuts

Just a few pictures to show that I do use my Cricut.
These are some of the cuts from Create A Critter 2. I love this cartridge. The images are very easy to layer and quick to put together.
More cuts from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge.
These are some of the pumpkins and accorns I cut for the Halloween/Fall Festival SWARM I held on September 8th.

Loving these new cartridges

Provo craft just released a couple new cartridges that I just LOVE!!! Create a Critter 2 and Suburbia. I used the Create A Critter 2 cartridge for a couple cards I demo'd for the September 8, 2012 SWARM. I was lucky enough to snag the Create A Critter 2 at Joann's for $34.95. I ordered my Suburbia from Terri at www.stampsalive.blogspot.com for the $34.95 plus $2.95 shipping I believe. Ordered on Thursday recieved on Saturday. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!! YEs, I highly recommend her. I'll post a few pictures of cards later.

It has been over a year.

Wow, it has been over a year since my last post. But I'm back and creating like a crazy woman again. I have been buying a ton of cartridges lately. Just got the new releases Create A Critter 2 and Suburbia. Love these 2 cartridges. They are quick, easy, and fun. I used a couple of images from Create A Critter 2 for my SWARM on Saturday. Tonight I have been working on a series of cards named: And I said... I plan on a couple series of cards from this cartridge. But I will post the 4 cards I have done. They are a little mean, but the ladies I made them for will love them.
This one inside reads. Oh sweetie, no one cares what your opinion is.
This one inside reads. Honey, the best appliance in my kitchen is the phone.
The left one inside reads. Oh sweetie, you can't be that stupid. The right one inside reads. Sweetie, when I want your opinion, I'll give it to you.
These are just some of the images from the cartrirdge I cut out. They were all cut at 3 3/4 inches.

Pictures from my new camera.

So my son came over and was to tired to try to figure it out so I did my best and I think I got it. So here are some pictures of things I made at the Stampede. The Easel Card is my favorite. But I did get the (My) Pink Stamper to Autograph my Autograph book from her class.

I love my new camera. Takes a big learning curve, but I'll figure it out a bit at a time.

Happy Scrappin'

My New Camera

Well, It was a little harder than I thought with the new Camera. Everything on my computer was set up for Kodak Camera's My new Camera is a Nikon. It is a sweet camera. I'm actually reading the instructions on it. Don't laugh. You would think, just point and click and upload. Not that easy. My software is clashing and I have to have my computer guy fix some stuff and now that he is working 2 jobs, I am having a hard time getting him over here. He said he was off on Easter so I hope I can bribe him with food. If not, there will be no pictures for awhile.

I just finished my bike ride and am heading up to my craft room to do some organizing since I can't seem to find some of my stuff from the Stampede. Not really unpacked yet.

I am doing a weekend retreat in May with my Sister-in-law and really looking forward to it.

Then in June I'm going to Arlington to the Great American Scrapbook Convention with some of my Austin Area friends.

I am really looking forward to the next month and then some.

Have fun scrapping!

Just plain busy

As usual. Busy as ever. Been taking hubby to Physical Therapy every Tuesday and Thursday. Getting ready for my lamp working annual auction and trying to get over whatever it is I have. Afraid it may be walking pneumonia again. I have to post a couple things. Haven't quite figured out how to do that from my new camera. Hopefully soon I will. Hard learning a new camera.
Anyway, hope your day is great.
Craft on!!
