Mine, Mine, Mine!

I hold SWARMS here in Houston. A SWARM is just an all day crop with alot of cricuts being used. I had one in July and asked for attendees input on anything they would like to see changed or any request they had. One request was a trash can for each person. Although it was a great idea it could be a very expensive change. I started out looking at Target, and Walmart for trash cans. $5.00 each, $3.00 each. Even found some at Lowes on clearance for $1.99 each but they were decorated and frankly pretty ugly. I know it is trash but that didn't mean the outside had to be ugly as well. Then I thought I'd check out the Dollar store and see if they had anything I could use. Well, I found one white trash can. So I went to another and found 1 black trash can. and find me more. Well, several calls later and I would have a total of 3 can. Then one of the customers tells me just order them online thru Dollar Tree. Funny how the employees never mentioned that. Well, I go home and pull them up online. They have black and if I order a case I can get them for $1.00 each. Well shipping was crazy, so I passed. 2 days later I get a email about shipping whole order for $4.95. Needless to say I ordered a case. About 2 weeks later, 36 trash cans arrived. Boring ugly black trash cans. YUCK!!! Hey, I have vinyl. So I figure out what I want on them, of course I can't find a Seagul from Disney so I just used the words Mine, Mine, Mine! so that everyone would know they were for them to use at the SWARMS , but not take home. I thought about it and decided I wanted them to know not to put liquid in them. I have no desire to wash trash cans all the time. Then the other side looked kind of boring so, my husband says put your name on there. So, I put The Cricut Lady on them. Of course I used Green. First because of Cricut but also because it is one of my favorite colors. I think all in all they turned out pretty good. What do you think?
